Drivers on Route 13 in Dryden should expect a one-lane restriction and periodic 10- to 15-minute traffic stops Thursday while crews install a pedestrian bridge, according to a New York State Department of Transportation advisory.
The work is planned between Hall Road and Lower Creek Road in Tompkins County from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 22. NYSDOT said the schedule depends on weather and could change.
The state urged drivers to slow down in the work zone. Speeding fines are doubled there, and two or more work-zone speeding convictions could lead to a driver's license suspension.
