Northbound Route 13 in Ithaca will be reduced to two lanes on weekdays from Oct. 19 through Nov. 20 while crews work on drainage infrastructure, according to a New York State Department of Transportation advisory.
The restriction will run from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. between West Clinton Street and Hancock Street.
The department said construction is weather-dependent, so the schedule could change.
Drivers are urged to slow down in the work zone. Speeding fines are doubled in work zones, and two or more work-zone speeding convictions could lead to a suspended driver's license, the department said.
Motorists can check 511NY for current travel information before using the corridor.
