A Rochester man pleaded guilty in federal court to drug-trafficking and firearm charges tied to a sales operation that prosecutors say ran from 2021 to January 2024 in Monroe County.
Gary Fuller, 31, entered the plea before U.S. District Judge Frank Geraci, according to an Oct. 8 announcement from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of New York. He pleaded guilty to conspiring to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, at least five kilograms of cocaine, 280 grams of crack cocaine and 400 grams of fentanyl, as well as possessing firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking.
The charges carry a combined minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, a maximum of life and a possible $10 million fine, prosecutors said. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 19, 2027, before Geraci.
Federal prosecutors said Fuller worked with Timothy Jackson Jr., Shawnle McClary, Felicia Collins, Shamar Anderson and others to sell the drugs. They said he packaged narcotics, coordinated deliveries and collections from workers at Angle Street sales locations, and directed salary payments to those workers.
Prosecutors said Fuller and his co-conspirators kept firearms at residences or drug-sale locations to protect themselves, drugs and proceeds. Investigators searched multiple locations used to store, process, package and sell drugs on Jan. 17, 2024.
The searches yielded 12 firearms and about $31,800 in cash, along with 210 grams of fentanyl, 919 grams of cocaine and 109 grams of crack cocaine, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. Investigators also seized 933 capsules of fentanyl and 1,300 capsules of crack cocaine.
Other seized items included drug paraphernalia, cellphones, a Rolex watch, a money counter and a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe. The release did not specify which items were found at each location.
The Rochester Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert Marangola is prosecuting it. The investigation was part of the federal Homeland Security Task Force initiative, which brings together agencies to investigate drug trafficking and other crimes.
