Cook appeared to give the Bills the decisive score with a late rushing touchdown, but Los Angeles responded with Kyren Williams’ one-yard touchdown run with four seconds remaining to tie the game at 34.

Overtime brought another dramatic swing. Shakir’s 57-yard catch-and-run put Buffalo in promising field position, but Cook fumbled on the ensuing possession, allowing Aaron Donald to recover the ball for Los Angeles.

The Rams then moved to the Buffalo 30-yard line, where Harrison Mevis lined up for a potential 48-yard game-winning field goal. Rousseau blocked the attempt, preventing Los Angeles from ending the game and giving the Bills another opportunity.

Buffalo made that chance count. Allen helped the offense move into range, and Bass connected on a 45-yard field goal with 1:55 remaining in overtime to secure the three-point victory.

The win marked Allen’s first career overtime victory, moving his overall record to 1-7.
