Super DIRT Week 54 will bring the Super DIRTcar Series back to Oswego Speedway Oct. 5-10, with a $54,000 top prize in the 200-lap Billy Whittaker Cars 200 on the final Saturday.
The Oswego race opens a three-stop October stretch that continues in Ontario and Delaware, according to the series' Sept. 28 preview. The series' published schedule also lists racing at Oswego on Oct. 8.
Defending series champion Mat Williamson won the Billy Whittaker Cars 200 last year for the fourth time, holding off Justin Haers for a $53,000 prize. Another victory would make Williamson the event's third five-time winner, the series said.
Stewart Friesen is pursuing a record seventh victory in the race. Other drivers the series expects to contend include points leader Alex Yankowski, Jimmy Phelps and three-time event winner Matt Sheppard.
Activities before the Oswego finale
Super DIRT Week activities begin Sunday, Oct. 4, with a kickoff party at Lighthouse Lanes. Downtown Oswego's “Racing's Biggest Block Party” is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. on West First Street between Bridge and Oneida streets.
The block party will include food, music, an autograph session and a ceremony recognizing Williamson's 2025 win. Concerts and DJs are also planned during the week. The series directs fans to its event schedule for the full lineup.
The 200-lap race on Saturday, Oct. 10, is the week's main Super DIRTcar Series event. A $54,000 winner's prize is $1,000 more than last year's purse.
Series heads to Canada and Delaware
After Oswego, the series will race at Brockville Ontario Speedway on Friday, Oct. 16. The Fall Nationals feature is scheduled for 100 laps with $10,000 to the winner. Williamson won that event last year, ahead of Alex Payne.
The month's final stop is Saturday, Oct. 31, at Georgetown Speedway in Delaware for the Mid-Atlantic Championship. It will be the series' second Georgetown visit of 2026; Yankowski led every lap to win the Delaware Diamond 50 there in May.
