Keuka College held its 128th-place position among regional universities in the North in the 2027 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings, the college announced Tuesday. It also moved up one place to 75th on the region's social-mobility list.
The college placed 85th on a new U.S. News list of private regional universities in the North. Because that list is new, the announcement did not provide a prior-year comparison.
Keuka did not provide underlying scores or data showing what drove its one-place change on the social-mobility list. The announcement did not describe a measurable change in student outcomes.
President Amy Storey said the recognition reflects the college's focus on academic programs, experiential learning and support services. In a statement, she said the college aims to help students apply what they learn to their careers and communities.
Keuka also pointed to separate rankings published earlier this year. Money included it on its 2026 Best Colleges list, and Washington Monthly placed it in the top half of Northeastern colleges in a ranking that considers social mobility, public service and research.
Those publications use different criteria from U.S. News, and the college's announcement did not provide a direct comparison among the lists. Keuka said it would continue investing in academic programs and student support.
