Hochul to join Albany Democrats at Saturday campaign rally

Hochul to join Albany Democrats at Saturday campaign rally

Gov. Kathy Hochul will join elected officials, labor leaders and volunteers at an Albany rally Saturday supporting Democratic candidates in the Capital Region.

Doors are scheduled to open at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 19, the speaking program begins at 3 p.m., and press attendees will receive the location after they RSVP.

Organizers said the program will include U.S. Rep. Paul Tonko, Albany County Executive Dan McCoy, Mayor Dorcey Applyrs, state Sen. Pat Fahy and Assemblywoman Gabriella Romero.

Labor leaders, Democratic candidates and campaign volunteers are also expected to participate. The announcement said the rally will focus on electing Democrats in races across the ballot.

The event was announced by Friends for Kathy Hochul, the governor's campaign committee.
