Wayne-Finger Lakes high school sports: September 8 scoreboard

Week 2 of the Wayne-Finger Lakes high school fall sports season got underway Tuesday with a loaded slate of soccer, volleyball, tennis, and golf matches. Penn Yan remained unbeaten in boys soccer behind two goals from Jhonjader Cardona Penaloza, while Bloomfield stayed perfect in girls soccer with EJ Didas recording two goals and an assist. Palmyra-Macedon also picked up a notable boys soccer win, and Midlakes remained unbeaten in girls volleyball.
