Geneva police reported three arrests tied to domestic incidents this month, including felony robbery and strangulation charges and a second arrest alleging violations of a court-issued stay-away order.
The arrests occurred Sept. 3 and 4 on North, East North and Exchange streets, according to a department blotter dated Sept. 8. The allegations remain pending in court.
Assault case followed by contempt arrest
Police charged Seth C. Heers, 29, of Geneva, with two counts of third-degree assault after a Sept. 3 incident on North Street. Investigators alleged Heers caused serious physical injuries to his parents during the domestic dispute.
Officer Fu-Wah Choi arrested Heers and took him to centralized arraignment court. A judge issued an order directing him to stay away from his parents, and he was released without bail, police said.
Police allege Heers later returned to his parents' home in violation of the order. He was arrested again and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt.
Following the second arrest, Heers was taken back to centralized arraignment court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail until his next court appearance, according to the blotter.
Robbery and strangulation charges
Robert A. Adorno-Davila, 34, of Geneva, was arrested Sept. 3 following a domestic incident on East North Street. Police charged him with second-degree robbery and second-degree strangulation, both felonies, along with second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
Investigators alleged Adorno-Davila strangled and assaulted his domestic partner and forcibly stole items from the person. The blotter also identified him as a convicted felon.
Officer Michael Shugars took Adorno-Davila to centralized arraignment court. A judge issued a stay-away order, and Adorno-Davila was held until his next court date, police said.
Police allege partner was blocked from calling for help
Christian Rodriguez-Tirado, 40, of Geneva, was arrested Sept. 4 after an incident on Exchange Street. He was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.
Police alleged Rodriguez-Tirado struck his domestic partner and physically prevented the person from calling emergency services. Officer Fabrizio DiNitto took him to centralized arraignment court.
A judge issued a stay-away order, and Rodriguez-Tirado was released without bail, according to police.
