Victor firefighters were called to another house fire Saturday morning, marking the department’s second structure fire response in the area this week.
The Victor Fire Department was dispatched around 7 a.m. with mutual aid from Bushnell’s Basin, Farmington and the City of Canandaigua fire departments.
Firefighters conducted a primary search of the home during the initial attack and determined that no one was inside, according to the Victor Fire Department.
The department did not report any injuries or provide additional information about the extent of damage to the home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
In that incident, crews arrived to find an attached garage and the east side of a home in flames, with fire threatening a neighboring property. Firefighters were able to prevent the flames from extending into the neighboring house.
