Tompkins Cortland Community College will open a second fall term Sept. 29, giving students who missed the traditional semester start another way to begin classes before 2027.
The college said its Fall 2 term includes dozens of courses taught on a condensed 10-week schedule, with most classes offered completely online.
The schedule includes courses that can apply to any major and may be taken by students beginning college part time.
TC3 said students can also begin full-time study in 14 degree programs during the Fall 2 term.
Students who start in Fall 2 are eligible to seek financial assistance, including SUNY Reconnect. The state program provides free college for adults ages 25 to 55 who do not have a prior college degree and enroll in an eligible high-demand field.
