A 61-year-old Lyons man faces a misdemeanor charge after deputies said he was found with a Dollar General shopping cart away from the store.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Tracy A. Daniels of Franklin Street was arrested Sept. 2 and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Deputies allege Daniels illegally possessed the shopping cart after it was removed from the store's premises.
Daniels was processed and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 15 to answer the charge.
