Thompson Health is expanding several primary care, OB/GYN and pediatric practices across the Finger Lakes with the addition of six providers in Canandaigua, Farmington, Geneva and Clifton Springs.
The new hires include physician assistants, nurse practitioners and a pediatrician, with some already seeing patients and one accepting new pediatric patients in Canandaigua.
Physician Assistant Adam Mizzi joined The Mary Clark Thompson Family Practice at the Sands Family YMCA in Canandaigua in June. He has nearly 20 years of experience working as a physician assistant in multiple settings.
Nurse Practitioner Kimberlie Noyes also joined Thompson’s Farmington Medical Group in June. Noyes has worked with Thompson for nearly 30 years and has also served for many years as an associate professor of nursing at Finger Lakes Community College.
At Thompson’s Canandaigua Medical Group, Physician Assistant Lauren Payne recently joined the OB/GYN practice. Payne previously worked at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester and became a clinical preceptor there in 2021, helping educate and mentor future physician assistants.
Family Nurse Practitioner Dixie Kendall has also joined the OB/GYN team and is seeing patients in both Geneva and Canandaigua. Kendall has more than 20 years of nursing experience and earned her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from St. John Fisher University last year.
In Clifton Springs, Physician Assistant Beth Lanctot joined Midlakes Family Practice. She will work with Dr. Jonathon Lammers, who is taking on the role of medical director for all Thompson family practices while continuing to see patients.
Lanctot previously worked at Thompson’s Farmington Family Medicine in 2022 and has practiced at Thompson urgent care locations since 2023. She will be in the Clifton Springs office two days per week.
The newest addition is Dr. Acadia Fairchild, who joined the Pediatrics Department at Thompson’s Canandaigua Medical Group and is accepting new patients. Fairchild recently completed her pediatric residency at Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester, where she served as chief resident.
