The charges stem from a joint investigation by the Wayne County Department of Social Services and the Sheriff's Office into alleged welfare fraud in the Town of Lyons, according to the release.

Lawn was processed at the Wayne County Jail and released on an appearance ticket for Lyons Town Court on Sept. 15, 2026, deputies said.
