The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce in Waterloo will offer two defensive driving course sessions beginning Aug. 29, with registration available by phone.
The first six-hour course will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, while the second will be split between 6 and 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, and Thursday, Oct. 1.
The course costs $40 per person or $35 for chamber members and veterans. The chamber says participants may be eligible to remove up to four points from their driver's licenses and receive a 10% insurance discount for three years.
Payment is required one week before the course. The chamber will not provide refunds for no-shows or cancellations made within one week of a session, but students affected by a cancellation by the chamber or National Safety Council may choose a refund or enrollment in a future course.
