The Ithaca Police Department will hold a recruiting meet-and-greet Tuesday, Aug. 25, for people interested in taking the city's police officer civil service exam.
The department's recruitment team will answer questions and help candidates register from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Southside Community Center.
Applications for the exam are due Sept. 10. The exam is scheduled for Oct. 17.
The department's announcement includes a QR code linking to additional information and the exam registration page.
