A Waterloo man was charged with felony drug possession after Seneca Falls police said officers found methamphetamine during a traffic stop involving a gas-powered bicycle.
Shawn Standbrook, 40, was charged Aug. 3 with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, according to the Police Department.
Police said Standbrook had been operating the bicycle on a public road when officers stopped him. The release did not identify the road or disclose the amount of methamphetamine allegedly found.
Standbrook also received several traffic citations and was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.
