An Auburn man won a record $422,862.17 jackpot Friday, Aug. 7, at LakeSide Entertainment in Union Springs, according to the Cayuga Nation gaming operation.
Richard Snyder hit the jackpot on a Super Jackpot Triple Lion machine with a $4.50 bet, breaking a LakeSide record set three weeks earlier.
The previous record was set July 17, when an anonymous player won $352,266 on a Willie Nelson machine. Snyder's win came 21 days later.
Brandon Holbert, LakeSide's director of gaming operations, said two record jackpots in about a month was unprecedented for the company.
LakeSide operates four Class II gaming establishments in Seneca Falls and Union Springs. The company is an enterprise of the Cayuga Nation.
