Imagine you already own three Porsche Taycans. You love the car, but for your fourth one, you want something completely different. That is exactly what a Swiss buyer recently did, teaming up with Porsche Centre Lugano and the brand’s exclusive Sonderwunsch, or Special Wishes, program. They didn’t just pick a few options from a catalog. Instead, they commissioned a totally bespoke Taycan Turbo GT. This incredible one-off build features around thirty unique custom touches, and over half of those were developed specifically for this exact car. It completely redefines what personalizing an electric vehicle can look like.
Capturing the Golden Hour
The absolute showstopper of this custom ride is the exterior paint. It is a stunning custom color called Nordicgoldmetallic. If you know your Porsche history, this warm, yellowish-orange hue might look familiar. It is a brilliant modern nod to the Metallic Gold shades Porsche used on their classic 911 and 914 models back in the early 1970s.
The owner actually chose this specific shade for a deeply personal reason. They wanted to perfectly capture the way the shifting sunlight dances across Lake Lugano during sunrise and sunset. To make that golden paint really pop, Porsche added subtle high-gloss black contrasts on the B-pillars, the upper mirror housings, and the rear lip spoiler.
They also wrapped the outer rims of the massive 21-inch forged lightweight wheels in a Satin Neodyme finish. This perfectly matches the specialized trim found on the front fascia and the side skirts. The rest of the wheel is painted a stealthy Satin Black, finished off with a Turbonite Porsche crest right in the center.
A Cabin Woven with Nostalgia
Stepping inside this Turbo GT reveals just how much creative freedom the Sonderwunsch team had. They poured obsessive attention to detail into every single corner of the cabin. The immediate focal point is the seating, where the center panels are wrapped in a gorgeous retro-inspired Black and Slate Grey Pepita fabric.
This classic woven cloth is beautifully framed by smooth Pebble Grey leather and dark, grippy Race-Tex on the side bolsters and headrests. The craftsmanship is just breathtaking no matter where your eyes land. You will find intricate Crayon and Mojave Beige stitching tracing along the Pebble Grey and black dashboard, bringing the whole look together seamlessly.
They even brought some of that exterior warmth inside the car. Custom Neodyme-painted accents brighten up the gear selector, air vents, and door handles. The housing for the Sport Chrono clock is perfectly color-matched in that same Nordicgoldmetallic exterior paint. Meanwhile, the sleek carbon-fiber steering wheel gets a subtle Mojave Beige marker sitting right at the twelve o’clock position.
