A Savannah man faces unlawful imprisonment, criminal mischief and harassment charges following an investigation into a 911 hang-up call, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies arrested Justin R. Oram, 37, on July 11 after investigators determined that a woman had tried to call 911 for help during a disturbance on Savannah Spring Lake Road.
The sheriff's office said Oram left the scene after the incident and later turned himself in at 2:22 p.m. He was arrested minutes later.
Oram was charged with second-degree harassment, two counts of criminal mischief and unlawful imprisonment. The release did not identify the degree of the criminal mischief or unlawful imprisonment charges.
He was processed at the Wayne County Jail and held for centralized arraignment later that day.
The charges are allegations, and Oram is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
