Palworld 1.0 Release Date Confirmed Here’s Every New Feature Coming at Launch

Palworld Version 1.0 officially launches today, July 10, 2026, closing the game’s long Early Access journey and delivering what Pocketpair has called its biggest update yet. The full release adds to the world with new Pals, new regions, a new threat and access to the long awaited World Tree. This is Palworld’s biggest single addition since it entered Early Access in January 2024.

The World Tree Is Now Open

The World Tree is one of the most important additions in Version 1.0. The giant landmark has been visible since the early days of the game, but players can now finally explore the area in the full release. The new area is closely integrated into the main story. More Sky Islands means more exploration above the existing world. The update also introduces the biggest batch of new Pals in a single release, and a major overhaul to progression across the game.

Genetic Recombination Changes Pal Breeding

Version 1.0 enhances nurturing through Genetic Recombination, enabling players to craft potent Pals with inherited traits. High level creatures can add genes and traits toward new combinations, adding another layer of strategy to breeding. The update also introduces a new mobility item, the Wing Pack, which allows you to soar through the air and explore places such as the Sky Islands. These additions contribute to the how players develop and move their Pals around the larger map.

The Bosses, Sanctuaries & Building Systems Reworked

This full release isn’t just an expansion that includes new areas and creatures. New building options will allow players to build bases in new locations, such as waterfront locations and offshore construction. Also included in the update is story content and a rework of parts of the world and progression system, making Version 1.0 feel more like a wide relaunch than a typical content patch.

Server Clustering Extends Multiplayer

Multiplayer is getting a major upgrade with server clustering for all players. This feature is designed to connect multiple server environments, allowing communities to create larger networks of shared worlds. Players will reportedly be able to hop between linked server spaces while keeping their progress on significant Pal-related activities. It could be especially useful for larger communities that want to operate multiple inter-connected worlds as opposed to a single stand-alone server.

The price will stay at $29.99

Palworld will exit Early Access and get its largest update ever, but the price will stay the same at $29.99. As a thank you to the community for supporting the game’s unexpected worldwide success, Pocketpair has chosen to not increase the base price for the Version 1.0 launch. Keeping the price could also make the full launch more welcoming to new players who didn’t jump in during Early Access.
