Admission tickets and parking passes for the 2026 Great New York State Fair go on sale Tuesday, July 7, with the fair set to run from Aug. 26 through Labor Day, Sept. 7.
Daily admission is $8 and includes access to grounds entertainment, agricultural exhibits, live demonstrations and the Chevrolet Music Series, according to Governor Kathy Hochul's office.
Admission remains free for people 65 and older and children 12 and younger. A frequent fairgoer pass, available only online, costs $25 and allows one entry per day during the fair's 13-day run.
Parking costs $12 per vehicle. Including fees, total costs are $8.32 for daily admission, $25.70 for a frequent fairgoer pass and $12.41 for parking.
Tickets and parking passes will be available online beginning at 9 a.m. July 7 through the fair's website. They also may be purchased by phone through Etix at 1-800-514-3849 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Electronic ticket kiosks will be available at all gates when the fair opens Aug. 26. QR codes will also be posted at entrances and parking lots so visitors can buy tickets by smartphone.
The fair will be open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, except Labor Day, when it closes at 9 p.m. Gates close to entry at 9 p.m. daily, except Sept. 7, when no entry will be allowed after 8 p.m.
Centro's Park-N-Ride direct shuttles will return from the downtown transit hub, Long Branch Park and Destiny USA. One-way shuttle fares are $1 for adults and 50 cents for senior citizens, children ages 6 to 9 and people with disabilities.
