The 1816 Farmington Quaker Meetinghouse Museum has welcomed four new members to its board.
The new board members are Barbara Blaisdell, Dorothy Hanrahan, Christine Ridarsky and Nina St. John, according to the museum.
Blaisdell is a retired school counselor and living historian who has portrayed Susan B. Anthony for more than 30 years.
Hanrahan works in the architectural and design field with Torchia Structural Engineering & Design. She has also volunteered with the League of Women Voters, mental health agencies, the 1816 Meetinghouse and other community groups.
Ridarsky has served as Rochester city historian since October 2008 and Monroe County historian since December 2024. She has degrees in political science, journalism and American history, and has worked as regional archivist for the New York State Archives Documentary Heritage Program.
Ridarsky has also served as a trustee and past president of the Association of Public Historians of New York State. She was a founding member and past chair of the National Council on Public History's Government Historians Committee and serves on its membership committee.
St. John is assistant branch manager at Lyons National Bank's Macedon branch. She is a former small business owner, former vice president of the Williamson PTSA and an autism and special needs advocate and parent.
