Residents at a village-owned senior apartment complex say they’re still dealing with bed bugs weeks after the infestation began, according to CNY Central.
Tenants at Village Landing Apartments in Skaneateles say the pests have spread beyond a single unit and remain active despite treatment. Several residents described bites, found bugs in their apartments and questioned how the situation was handled.
Christopher Community, which manages the property, says the infestation has been limited to two apartments and a community room. The organization says inspections and follow-up treatments will continue until the problem is eliminated.
