Palmyra is getting its first brewery in roughly a century, according to RochesterFirst.
Peter and Sarah Wimer are opening Drumlins Brewing Company inside a renovated historic East Main Street building. The brewery will feature original pilsners alongside guest taps and marks only the third production brewery in Wayne County.
The couple says they hope the brewery becomes a gathering place for neighbors despite challenges facing New York’s craft beer industry. The grand opening is scheduled for Saturday.
