Auburn police say their investigation into a suspicious death remains active, according to The Citizen.
Daniel Sitterly, 50, was found dead near Elizabeth and Steel streets on June 14. Investigators continue working the case, but Capt. Michael Chadwick said the department does not expect to provide another public update in the near future.
Police continue asking anyone with information to contact Detective Nicholas Gehm. Officials have repeatedly said there is no threat to the public.
