A Penn Yan-based home services company celebrated its growth and expanding presence in the Finger Lakes with an open house and new sign unveiling at its headquarters on Lake Street.
Best Man Home Service and Maids of Honor Cleaning Service welcomed customers, employees, community members and local leaders to the event in May, offering tours of the company’s offices and a look at how the business has evolved since its founding more than seven years ago.
Owner Will Knepple said the company began with a single van and a focus on helping local homeowners. Through customer referrals and steady growth, the business expanded its services and workforce, eventually outgrowing its home office.
The company relocated to its current headquarters at 270 Lake St. in Penn Yan in 2023, providing additional space for staff and operations. Today, Best Man Home Service offers a range of residential and commercial maintenance, repair and remodeling services throughout the region, while Maids of Honor Cleaning Service provides residential, commercial, rental property and deep-cleaning services.
Knepple credited the company’s employees and workplace culture as key factors in its success. He said the business focuses on providing customized solutions tailored to the needs of individual customers rather than offering one-size-fits-all services.
The event culminated with the unveiling of a new company sign, which officials said reflects both the growth of the business and its long-term commitment to serving communities throughout the Finger Lakes.
The company currently has several employment opportunities available, including positions in skilled trades, carpet and upholstery cleaning, and residential cleaning services.
