A Lima woman was arrested Saturday after Ontario County sheriff’s deputies said she continued contacting and threatening another person despite being directed to stop by both law enforcement and the individual involved.
Julie A. Richardson, 39, of Lima, was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment following an investigation into the reported threats. Deputies said Richardson contacted and threatened another person after being told by both authorities and the victim to cease all communication.
The arrest took place at approximately 1:04 p.m. Saturday at Richardson’s residence on Rochester Street in Lima. The investigation was conducted by Deputy McCauley, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Richardson was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge in Richmond Town Court at a later date.
