A traffic stop for speeding on North Main Street resulted in a driving while intoxicated charge for a Wayland man late last month.
James R. Bill, 31, of Wayland, was arrested at about 11:36 p.m. May 11 after police stopped his vehicle for a speeding violation.
During the investigation, officers said Bill exhibited signs of intoxication and was taken into custody.
He was later released to a third party with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in City Court at a later date.
