The ACC announced the opponents and game sites for the 2026-27 men’s basketball season on Thursday, with Syracuse set for home-and-home series against Pittsburgh and Stanford.
Under the league’s scheduling format, each ACC team plays one home-and-home matchup against a designated rival, a second rotating home-and-home series, seven additional home games and seven road contests. Schools also face every conference opponent except one each season.
Pittsburgh remains Syracuse’s permanent ACC rival, continuing a streak of home-and-home meetings that dates back to the Orange joining the conference in 2013-14. Stanford will also face Syracuse twice after the teams did not meet during the 2025-26 season. NC State is the lone ACC school absent from Syracuse’s schedule.
The Orange will host Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Virginia and Wake Forest at the JMA Wireless Dome during Gerry McNamara’s first season as head coach. Syracuse’s road conference games include trips to California, Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, SMU, Stanford and Virginia Tech.

Clemson, Duke, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, SMU and Virginia reached the NCAA Tournament, while California and Wake Forest played in the NIT.
Pittsburgh is Syracuse’s most-played opponent among current ACC members, with the programs meeting 130 times. Stanford, meanwhile, has faced the Orange only twice.
The full ACC schedule, including dates, game times and television assignments, is expected to be released in September.
