Four Hobart Statesmen earned 2025-26 All-Liberty League honors following a season in which Hobart finished 9-8 overall and 3-5 in conference play. Senior Nick Fischer headlined the selections after earning first-team honors in both singles and doubles, while junior Achilleas Kousaridis collected honorable mention recognition in singles and doubles.
FL1 WEATHER: Dangerous heat grips Finger Lakes through Friday before holiday weekend relief Fischer capped one of the most decorated careers in program history with his fourth all-conference singles selection. The senior posted a 12-7 singles record this season, including an 8-6 mark at No. 1 singles, and went 8-4 overall in Liberty League competition across the fall and spring seasons. Fischer also won the St. Lawrence Fall Classic A Flight singles title and earned Liberty League Singles Performer of the Week honors three times.
The Maryland Heights, Missouri native closed his career with a combined 121-63 overall record, including 58 singles victories and 63 doubles wins.
In doubles play, Fischer reunited with classmate Aidan Staunton, his partner from the 2022-23 season. The duo finished 11-6 overall while playing primarily at No. 1 doubles, earning first-team all-conference honors for the first time together.
Kousaridis also delivered a strong season for Hobart, finishing 11-9 in singles competition while contributing across multiple lineup spots. He teamed with first-year Everett Reid to post a team-best 12-5 doubles record, including a pair of lengthy win streaks that helped the tandem secure all-conference honorable mention recognition.
The Statesmen concluded the season with another strong showing in the Liberty League and continued to build momentum with a mix of veteran leadership and emerging young talent.
