Hobart lands four players on All-Liberty League teams

Four Hobart Statesmen earned 2025-26 All-Liberty League honors following a season in which Hobart finished 9-8 overall and 3-5 in conference play. Senior Nick Fischer headlined the selections after earning first-team honors in both singles and doubles, while junior Achilleas Kousaridis collected honorable mention recognition in singles and doubles.

Fischer capped one of the most decorated careers in program history with his fourth all-conference singles selection. The senior posted a 12-7 singles record this season, including an 8-6 mark at No. 1 singles, and went 8-4 overall in Liberty League competition across the fall and spring seasons. Fischer also won the St. Lawrence Fall Classic A Flight singles title and earned Liberty League Singles Performer of the Week honors three times.

The Maryland Heights, Missouri native closed his career with a combined 121-63 overall record, including 58 singles victories and 63 doubles wins.

In doubles play, Fischer reunited with classmate Aidan Staunton, his partner from the 2022-23 season. The duo finished 11-6 overall while playing primarily at No. 1 doubles, earning first-team all-conference honors for the first time together.

Kousaridis also delivered a strong season for Hobart, finishing 11-9 in singles competition while contributing across multiple lineup spots. He teamed with first-year Everett Reid to post a team-best 12-5 doubles record, including a pair of lengthy win streaks that helped the tandem secure all-conference honorable mention recognition.

The Statesmen concluded the season with another strong showing in the Liberty League and continued to build momentum with a mix of veteran leadership and emerging young talent.
