A Horseheads man was taken into custody Thursday after Ontario County deputies said he unlawfully entered a home in Gorham and stole property from inside.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said 56-year-old David Raymond Wing was arrested May 14 following a police investigation into a burglary in the Town of Gorham. Investigators said Wing allegedly entered a dwelling around 3:24 a.m. and remained inside the residence before later leaving with property that did not belong to him.
Wing was charged with second-degree burglary and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held for CAP Court proceedings.
The investigation was handled by Deputy Herendeen with assistance from Investigator Brooks-Lambert and Labrake.
