Levine named finalist for ITA Leadership Award

Haley Levine has been named a finalist for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ann Lebedeff Leadership Award, recognizing the William Smith College tennis senior as one of three candidates for one of the sport’s highest honors. The award highlights excellence on and off the court, leadership, academic achievement and a commitment to service across all NCAA divisions.

A dual-sport athlete, Levine has competed for both the Herons’ tennis and swimming and diving programs during her collegiate career. On the court, she compiled 33 singles victories and 35 doubles wins, while earning a reputation for consistency and resilience in competition.

Levine’s impact extended beyond athletics, as she became a leader within the program and across campus. The award recognizes individuals who demonstrate strong character, leadership and a dedication to social justice and community engagement, traits that have defined Levine’s time at William Smith.

Academically, Levine is a double major in Spanish and psychology and has been recognized twice as an ITA Scholar-Athlete and a Liberty League All-Academic selection. Her academic journey also included study-abroad experiences in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, broadening her global perspective.

The ITA Ann Lebedeff Leadership Award recipient will be announced at the ITA Awards Ceremony in New York City, where the winner will receive a postgraduate scholarship and a donation to their collegiate program.

Following graduation, Levine will attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, continuing her commitment to service and leadership beyond her collegiate career.
