A new week of Wayne-Finger Lakes high school spring sports opened Monday with explosive scoring in girls lacrosse. Baylee Vilord poured in seven goals to lead Palmyra-Macedon, while Leah Sheridan and Lola Schorr fueled Canandaigua with big multi-point performances. Victor also got strong outings from Camryn Adrid and Lila Kubrich in another high-powered effort. On the boys side, Jaidyn Ellison totaled five points for Waterloo, and in baseball, Naples’ Luke Mosko struck out 10 in a complete-game performance while adding two hits and three RBI at the plate.

Luke Mosko delivered a complete-game effort for the Big Green Machines, allowing four runs on eight hits while striking out 10. He also contributed at the plate with two hits and three RBI. Ollie Bruen paced the offense with three hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs, while Rowan Biggs chipped in with two hits, highlighted by a double.
