Shoppers flooded Ithaca’s waterfront as the farmers market reopened with a fresh new look, according to WENY.
The 2026 outdoor season kicked off Saturday at Steamboat Landing, now featuring a completed parking lot and improved walkways funded by a $3.2 million state grant. Vendors filled the space with local produce, handmade goods, and ready-to-eat food.
The market runs April through December, with Saturday hours set through October and Sunday openings starting next month. Organizers say the upgrades aim to make visits smoother and more accessible for everyone.
