Troopers: Two arrested after Lyons home invasion investigation

Two men have been charged following an investigation into an armed home invasion robbery in Wayne County.

Charles A. Davis, 48, of Savannah, was arrested March 12, and William Partridge, 43, was taken into custody March 19, according to New York State Police.

The charges stem from a Dec. 17 robbery at a residence on Maple Street Road in the town of Lyons.

Investigators said a man entered the home displaying what appeared to be a rifle and demanded money before taking about $20,000 from a safe and fleeing in a gray sedan.

State Police said evidence collection, video review and investigative leads identified multiple individuals involved.

Davis and Partridge were each charged with first-degree robbery, a class B felony.

Authorities transported both men to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment. Prosecutors recommended no bail for Partridge due to his status as a predicate felon.

The investigation remains ongoing.
