Wayne County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Marion man after they said he was found with a prohibited weapon during a traffic stop in the Town of Lyons.
Patrick W. Graham, 38, of North Main Street in Marion, was arrested following the investigation into the stop.
Deputies said the stop occurred after Graham allegedly operated an uninspected vehicle and crossed over the center line.
During the stop, deputies reported finding Graham in possession of a wooden billy club.
Graham was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
He was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and later released with an appearance ticket and traffic tickets.
Graham is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on April 7 at 8:30 a.m. to answer the charges.
