A jury found a Victor woman guilty on multiple felony charges tied to a financial crimes case in Ontario County.
Monique E. Barrette-Lewis, 44, was convicted after a jury trial in Ontario County Court before Judge Frederick G. Reed.
Jurors found Barrette-Lewis guilty of second-degree grand larceny, third-degree grand larceny and first-degree scheme to defraud.
Prosecutors said the charges stemmed from conduct between October 2023 and April 2024 in the Town of Victor. Investigators said she engaged in a course of conduct involving the unlawful taking of business funds for personal use.
The case was prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney James Nobles following an investigation by the New York State Police.
After the verdict, Barrette-Lewis was remanded into custody.
Sentencing is scheduled for June 18 at 2 p.m. in Ontario County Court. She faces a minimum sentence of three to six years and a maximum of 7½ to 15 years in state prison.
