New science equipment is giving students at Campbell-Savona Jr./Sr. High School a boost in STEM learning, according to WETM.
Teacher Jennifer Clancy secured a $1,000 grant from Delta Kappa Gamma, a professional society for women educators. She used the funds to buy USB adapters and pressure sensors that connect older lab equipment to modern computer software.
The upgrades will help students run experiments involving motion, temperature, sound, and electricity while improving data analysis during chemistry and physics lessons. Clancy said she hopes to pursue more grants to continue expanding technology in the classroom.
