Josh Allen has a new weapon.
The Buffalo Bills are acquiring veteran wide receiver DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears in a trade that also includes a 2026 fifth-round pick coming to Buffalo, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Chicago will receive a second-round pick in return, but the deal can’t become official until March 11, when the new league year begins.
Moore, 28, is coming off a quieter statistical season in 2025, finishing with 50 receptions for 682 yards and six touchdowns. Despite the dip, he has been one of the league’s more productive receivers over the past decade, posting four 1,100-yard seasons during his eight-year career that began with the Carolina Panthers.
The move gives Buffalo another proven target for Allen as the franchise enters a new era on the sidelines. The Bills fired head coach Sean McDermott after their overtime loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC divisional round and promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to the top job.
Buffalo had also been monitoring Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown amid trade speculation, according to NFL Network, but ultimately turned its focus to Moore.
