Syracuse men’s basketball dropped its fourth straight game Tuesday night, falling 77-62 to No. 24 Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center.
The Orange fell to 15-15 overall and 6-11 in Atlantic Coast Conference play after a sluggish first half put them in an early hole they could not escape.
Naithan George led Syracuse with 16 points on 5-of-13 shooting. Nate Kingz added 14 points and six rebounds, while Donnie Freeman recorded a double-double despite shooting 3-of-11 from the field. Sadiq White Jr. provided a spark off the bench with eight points.

Both teams started slowly, tied 2-2 at the first media timeout before Louisville’s offense found rhythm from beyond the arc. Ryan Conwell and Isaac McKneely knocked down early three-pointers as the Cardinals used an 11-0 run to build a double-digit lead.
Syracuse struggled offensively in the opening half, missing its first 11 three-point attempts and trailing 39-21 at halftime. Louisville maintained control in the second half, pushing its advantage to as many as 22 points.
The Orange briefly rallied with a 9-0 run midway through the second half, highlighted by a block from William Kyle III that led to a transition dunk by White. Syracuse had chances to cut the deficit to single digits but could not capitalize.
Louisville finished 14-of-35 from three-point range while Syracuse shot 4-of-19 from deep.
