The Orange enter the matchup with two games remaining in the regular season after an 83-point outing at Wake Forest, where four players scored in double figures despite the loss. Sophomore Donnie Freeman led the way with a season-high 28 points, while senior Nate Kingz added 20. Freeman has been Syracuse’s most consistent road scorer, averaging 19.6 points per game away from home and posting five 20-point efforts on the road this season.

Kingz has provided perimeter scoring in ACC play, while junior Naithan George continues to direct the offense and recently recorded his second double-double of the year. Defensively, Syracuse ranks third nationally in blocks per game (6.0), anchored by senior William Kyle III, who has totaled 73 blocks this season and ranks among the national leaders.

Louisville enters following back-to-back road losses to North Carolina and Clemson but has already secured its second straight 20-win season under head coach Pat Kelsey. The Cardinals boast one of the ACC’s top offenses, averaging 86.0 points per game and ranking among the national leaders in 3-pointers made per contest. Ryan Conwell leads the league in 3-pointers per game, while freshman Mikel Brown Jr. adds scoring punch.

Louisville leads the all-time series 20-14, though Syracuse has won three of the last four meetings at the KFC Yum Center. The Cardinals claimed last season’s matchup at the JMA Wireless Dome.
