A reported disturbance on County Road 18 ended with a 20-year-old man facing an assault charge Monday night.
Jordan E. Wicks, 20, of Shortsville, was arrested after deputies responded around 7:25 p.m. to 4112 County Road 18 and investigated a physical altercation between Wicks and another man, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators determined Wicks intended to cause and did cause physical injury to the other party.
Deputies arrested Wicks at 10:11 p.m. and charged him with third-degree assault.
He was processed at the Ontario County Jail and issued an appearance ticket. Wicks is scheduled to appear in Gorham Town Court at a later date.
