Neighbors demand traffic changes after Clifton Springs crash

A car tore through two Clifton Springs yards before slamming to a stop — and now neighbors want answers, according to RochesterFirst. Daniel Huntsman said the vehicle sped past his windows and clipped his house in seconds.

Terry Donk compared the sound to a tractor-trailer scraping a guardrail before their pool collapsed. Next-door neighbor Alicia Raeman said she felt stunned seeing the car sitting in the yard and pointed to frequent crashes in the area.

Residents blame confusing traffic patterns and speeding drivers. Raeman suggested adding a roundabout and extending the guardrail to slow cars down. Two people in the car went to the hospital, one by Mercy Flight. Deputies continue investigating.
