Police arrested a woman after deputies say she weaved along U.S. 5 & 20 in Waterloo.
Deputies charged Margaret Schibley, 61, of Waterloo, with misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated on Feb. 19 around 10:30 p.m., according to Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson.
Deputies said Schibley traveled eastbound and failed to maintain her lane, which led to a traffic stop.
During the stop, deputies determined that Schibley had consumed alcoholic beverages. Deputies also found an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle and cited her for littering.
Deputies administered sobriety tests and then arrested Schibley for Driving While Intoxicated. She later submitted to a breath test that showed a 0.10% blood alcohol content.
Deputies released Schibley on an appearance ticket.
She will appear in Waterloo Town Court on March 8 to answer the charges.
