Deputies say a Penn Yan man kept contacting someone he’s legally barred from reaching — just days after a similar arrest.
Christopher Castle, 32, of Penn Yan, faces a charge of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree following an investigation at the Yates County Jail.
According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, correctional officers notified deputies that Castle continued to contact the protected party through video calls.
Deputies investigated the report and confirmed the violation of an existing order of protection.
Authorities charged Castle and issued him an appearance ticket for a later court date.
