A Steuben County jury convicted a Campbell man of selling meth from his home, according to WETM. Prosecutors said the May 30, 2024 deal involved more than seven grams sold to a sheriff’s office informant.
Terry L. Champion, 57, now faces up to nine years in prison after jurors found him guilty of third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance, both class B felonies. Investigators from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and Bath Police testified, and a state police lab expert confirmed the drug and its weight.
Judge will sentence Champion on April 25. He remains in the Steuben County Jail without bail.
