A narcotics investigation in Auburn led to the seizure of nearly 50 grams of cocaine and the arrest of two people Wednesday morning.
Investigators with the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force executed a court-authorized search warrant on Feb. 11 at a residence in the city of Auburn.
Authorities said the search followed an investigation into the illegal possession, sale and distribution of narcotics in Cayuga County. Investigators identified Greta L. White and Kevin L. Fuller as suspects and obtained a warrant for a home they allegedly used to further drug sales.
During the search, officers recovered 47 grams of cocaine, drug packaging materials, digital scales and a quantity of U.S. currency.
Police arrested White, 40, of Auburn, and Fuller, 41, of Rochester. Officers charged both with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, including one count under subdivision 1 and one count under subdivision 12, both Class B felonies.
Authorities transported both defendants to the Cayuga County Jail for centralized arraignment proceedings. The Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office is requesting that both be remanded due to prior felony convictions. Investigators said White has two prior felony convictions and Fuller has three.
The Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office will prosecute the case.
