Students at South Seneca High School are packing passports, not textbooks, for their next lesson abroad, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Members of the school’s Yorkers Club leave Feb. 13 for a European trip that includes Budapest, Prague, and Vienna. The long-running club lets students help choose destinations, run meetings, and fundraise to cover travel costs through events like meat raffles and festivals.
Advisors handle logistics, while guided tours balance history, culture, and free exploration. Students say the experience builds confidence, independence, and real-world skills — from navigating foreign cities to connecting with people across cultures.
