Canandaigua is getting an early start on St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with a new lakeside event.
Hotel Canandaigua, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, will partner with Nolan’s Catering and several Lakeshore Drive businesses to host the inaugural Shamrock Shuffle on Saturday, March 14.
The free, all-ages event runs from noon to 8 p.m. and invites visitors to kick off the day at Hotel Canandaigua before making their way along Lakeshore Drive for food, drinks, and live entertainment.
Festivities begin at noon at Hotel Canandaigua with bagpipes by Lex and Irish-themed performances by the Goodwin Academy of Irish Dance. From 12:30 to 4 p.m., Prime Time Horns will perform live while Nolan’s Catering serves traditional corned beef dinners available for pre-order or purchase on site.
The hotel’s celebration continues from 5 to 8 p.m. with live music by Project Locksley, along with drink specials, local beer sampling, and giveaways.
Several nearby businesses will also host Shamrock Shuffle specials throughout the day. Twisted Rail Brewing Co. Canandaigua and Other Half Brewing Co. Canandaigua will offer green beer, food, and drink specials, with live music at Twisted Rail in the evening.
COHO Pizza & Wine Bar will feature Irish-inspired food and drink menus with live music from 5 to 8 p.m. Jose & Willy’s plans karaoke and drink specials starting at 8 p.m., while Murphy’s Law Irish Pub will serve corned beef and cabbage with live music in the afternoon.
Hotel Canandaigua is also offering discounted overnight room rates for a limited time for those looking to turn the Shamrock Shuffle into a weekend stay.
